    Barking dogs in NT villages...

Hi all, I'm thinking about moving to a village house in the NTs. I've heard that the barking dogs at night can be a night!mare... Does anyone know how to handle this problem. I know there are so many laws in HK about peace and quiet... so I hope there'll be a law about barking dogs too!

    Please help

I live in a village house. Not much of a problem with dogs here in Kam Tsin. The biggest animal problem is mosquitos.

I live in Fanling NT, yes there are dogs that bark specially during the nights but seldom do they continually bark, dogs in my place bark when they see strangers, it was my experience when i was still new but as time goes by dogs here recognize residents. That's when the time they acknowledge you become familiar with you and stop barking at you.

We usually enjoy peace and quiet in the New Territories specially here in Fanling, I never had any problems regarding dogs. It is the crowded places in Hongkong that give me nightmares, that's why I chose the country side in the New Territories.

    Hi,
I donot know about Kam Tsin, but since New Territories have more trees and plants it is natural for tropical insects to thrive such as ants and mosquitoes. Fortunately we donot have much of a problem regarding mosquitoes here.
