    Shaving question for guys

Just curious, has anyone tried the new Gillette Fusion?

My google search has revealed that most guys don't see any noticeable difference between the Mach3 and the Fusion, with the odd exception.

    new gillette fusion?

its not new, i've been using it for over a year!

i think you get more blades on it. and some other stuff, but i can't remember.

also the price is more expensive, but then again i get suckered in with the marketing.

well ya i know that, but is it worth the cost for the more expensive blades? do you find it does a substantially better job to justify the cost?

I've been using the fusion for a couple of months now and I cannot say I've noticed a big difference over the mach 3.... To be honest I never noticed a difference when changing from 2 blade (with lubricating strip) to mach 3, I reckon it's more of a marketing gimmick but I'm always a sucker for such things.

One thing it does have is the extra blade at the back to trim these awkward to get at hairs (e.g. under the nose)

have you ever used the extra blade? i never have.

anyway the new razor looks so much cooler, so it must be better (also the ads are better, so again the razor must be better), its a fact.

It's been out in UK for over a year. I think it only came out in HK a few months ago as I previously had to buy replacement blades from UK. As to comparing it to others, well there may not be much noticable difference for those with lighter growths but mine is heavy and and I find it the best, closest shave so far. Worth the extra $s.
