    Dragon Boat Race

    Folks,

I plan to go to the dragon boat race tomorrow (4th June) at Stanley. http://www.dragonboat.org.hk/ with a bunch of friends. Couldn't find other locations. Any better?

What is it like? Can nebody write about their experience?
    Good or bad!

Finally, if nebody interested in joining us, PM me

I was planning to go to Cheung Chau to watch it but now I've injured my foot so most of my energy will be spent limping to the Railway taver tonight.

    Stanley should be fun

    Abhi,

Someone was telling me this morning it took them 3 hrs to get to Stanley last year and the traffic was pathetic.

the trick to Stanley is to get a hold of a junk and sail into Stanely Main, the land routes are really bad, unless you get in quite early,or even plan to spend the night there. Return as late as you possibly can. Only use public transport.

This might be an idea for a Geopat expedition in 04 [hiring a junk]
