No....you miss my point. Of course I don't like the death and destruction. If I could stop the storm I would actually.
I can't stop it. My enjoyment of it has no bearing on the storm. What I am saying is that my enjoyment or otherwise has nothing to do with the damage the storm costs.
I like tigers and think they're beautiful, I don't see the need to add a little footnote explaining that, you know, I wish they'd stop eating deer or whatever...![]()
What is clear is that there are some people who can look at a beautiful object/creation and appreciate its beauty on its own (I'm of this camp)
and then there are others who cannot make that seperation (you seem to be one of these)
Sure, a Nazi uniform represents a ton of things and evokes all kids of memories (as do Storms, Volcanos, certain guns, etc etc) but that does not make them any less beautiful.
To me, this is also very beautiful:![]()
*shrug*I guess we wont see you admiring the sun at the next eclipse since you'd be crying from all the deaths sun causes yearly.
For those who are unaware, the sun causes around 3.5 million skin care cases anually in the USA alone. It causes tens of thousands of deaths every single year.
Its beautiful but remember to oil up and wear your sunglasses![]()
Well if a Nazi uniform and Luger represents something 'beautiful' to you I suggest you wear the uniform down the street, pull out our Luger and wave it around. You will then realise what it represents......
Let me correct you INXS, swastika is a holy sign in hindu and budhdhist religions, and not just that it's part of the culture too. So my guess is you probably have seen swastikas in the houses/shops of hindus who have nothing to do with hitler or the nazi philosophy. Common, you live so close to India/Indonesia, and for years, you should have known that.

Nope, I dont want to wear the uniform, I dont want to be in the middle of the storm and I dont want to visit the sun, nor do I want to be in the path of a lava flow from a volcano.
I can appreciate them just the same...
Also, dont twist my words please. I never said they represented something beautiful. They are inherently beautiful. They can represent many different things to many different people.
