I think he was asking in which direction the cyclone is moving, not how it's rotating.

Another one heading directly our way. That's a good one?

JTWC shows Macau taking a more direct hit, but still a bit early.

So whats the prediction? Seems like this is going to be a big disappointment

T1 just been issues but still clear skies here and can actually see 3 stars here in Kowloon.

This tropical storm keeps heading more and more left of HK, a few days ago it was looking like a direct hit, seems Lee Ka Shing's force field is doing its job

You know you're from HK when you hope for a direct hit by a typhoon.

In this case it's not the force field but the very strong sub tropical ridge stretching from Japan to southern China....the storm is tracking it... That said, wind shear has relaxed over the South China Sea which favours further intensification....perhaps a severe tropical storm or even a little typhoon :-)....independence is a product of strength and even a little nudge north in the track and we'll see some weather......let's see.

Excepting Sundays and red days, T3/red rain costs me around 2k, T8/black rain can cost me up to $4.5 depending on the day....

I reserve the right to enjoy them as much as possible! Presumably TheBrit and some others will now discover a sudden and obsessive interest in typhoon watching...

Give me a like if you're self employed and know what I'm on about!!
