Want to get rid of a UK TV

I have a UK TV which I was incorrectly told would work in Hong Kong but doesn't. Nothing wrong with it otherwise.
I'd like to try to sell it to anyone who might be moving back to the UK and might be interested.
Before I go and post details, I'd like to know if it's okay to do this on this sight.
    Is it?

I don't understand why you have a problem - I have a UK TV which works fine with terrestrial, cable TV, NOW broadband, etc. It's not multisystem - just straight PAL-I (i.e UK).

What are you trying to use it with, and in what way doesn't it work?

Agree with BP. Your UK TV should work here in Hong Kong without a problem...

having just gone thru some major tecnical difficulties myself, i know what a pain figuring out this stuff can be. heck, even finding help to figure it out for you can be hard. so here's my 2 cents in case you need it: call the community advice bureau and ask them for the number of someone who can get your tube working again. they have info on EVERYTHING! tel: 28155444. good luck.
