    Airport update, landed fine as normal, departures generally ok as well (until 6pm, or going to Taiwan)

    In Taiwan news, I read was already downgraded from Super Typhoon levels. I saw some storm chaser videos of the Taiwan landfall, and though really strong winds and rain, it seemed manageable.

    But things can change...

    5 out of 6 stations forecast a landing east of Hong Kong. I guess we won't see T9 or above.

    Just had a call from wife at airport, extremely busy there. The electronic check in for Cathay is broken and queue for business check in so far has her waiting 40 minutes. Cattle class queues massive.

    Leave plenty of time for check in today.
