Anyone in Tai Wo? An MTR train just hit a fallen tree??

Hmmm...confusion on the MTR Twitter feed there....seems like an LRT in Tuen Mun hit a fallen tree but some are saying a train collision in Tai Wo...anyone?

Not sure but could be. It seems Typhoons used to be much more powerful in the past.

The Northern NT districts are getting hammered now, so that wouldn't surprise me. Anything serious? Funny how weather can differ so much within one city.

South Lantau getting hammered now. I just woke up from something banging. Saw the scaffolding opposite swaying a bit, well and truly more than just pouring with rain. It seems to go on in cycles by the sounds of it outside. The wind sounded so strong I got up to check if it might have gone up to a T10.... Obviously not. Back to sleep. Sigh.

In Shenzhen . . . wind ranging from howling to roaring. Occasional BOOM! as well. Seems the most violent gusts are hitting the west side of the building.

Had the pleasure to take the absolute last flight out of HK on 7.30pm. If there wasn't a tyfoon alert, you wouldn't have noticed anything different during take-off. Fun to walk around in a near empty airport though!
