    Thanks for the info and updates - since at least 3 people seem to be posting from Gold Coast, can anyone see the Marina and comment? Sounds like we missed the worst of if, but it would be nice to get confirmation that home is still there!

    I love reading stories like this. Are people really that dumb. Typhoon forecast for at least 4 days. Situation changeable. Oh yeah let's blame the airline

    Not even raining in Kowloon. Few leaves scattered around . MTR about half as busy as normal.
