Question Filling out an address in Amazon.com, need help.

I wish to send a gift to my friend in HK, however I've faced several problems on my way. I hope you guys will be able to help me out.
First of all, do I set the country to Hong Kong or China? I have the following data:

    Flat X 99/X Block 9
    Sherwood Court
    Kingswood Villas
    Tin Shui Wai
    Hong Kong
    ----
    Need to fill out:
    Address Line 1:
    Address Line 2:
    City:
    Province/State/Region:
ZIP: They don't have those do they?
    Country:

So far I have come down to this. I wonder if this is correct? I don't want to mess up if possible, my friend has a birthday soon and I don't want to have the item shipped back and get late to the party...

Address Line 1: Flat X 99/X Block 9, Sherwood Court
Address Line 2: Kingswood Villas, Tin Shui Wai
    City: Hong Kong
    Province/State/Region: New Territories
ZIP: They don't have those do they?
    Country: Hong Kong

I want to stress this again - should I put in China or HK as the country?

    Thank you a lot.

PS: I hope this sub-forum is appropriate for this... I found it to be best fitting. Sincere apologies if not!

whenever a site asks for zip number and if you must put something in, I usually just put 00852 which is the international dialing code of HK sure you can put whatever you want in it but to me 00852 made more sense

Good idea, I usually put NONE in as a zip number, but some sites reject that and propt for numeral instead of letters. Why did I never think of just using the dialing code

I've always done 'no postcode'....if it only accepts digits '000000'

I recently subscribed to a learning platform for my students and it refused to accept anything but a US zip....I emailed them and now my little school is known as B****** English, Alabama.

I put Hong Kong as the country when I can.

Hong Kong as the city and China as the country when I can't.

I always put HK as the country. For city I use Central or Wanchai or wherever. For zip code I use either HK, KL or NT. Never had any problems, it's always worked :-)
