Volunteering in hospitals or medical services

Hello,
I'm looking to volunteer in HK hospitals but i am not so sure if it is possible and they want volunteers.
I can speek English and Cantonese but i cant read or write in cn.
has anyone ever volunteered in a hospital?
i really want to get in contact with how hospitals work and medicine but i dont have a medical degree. the last time my friend helped she was sent to the souvenirs shop

If you like children and can converse with them in Cantonese, I think Dutchess of Kent Hospital in Sandy Bay would be a good place to start.
