What wood? The biggest places are in Shung Shui, Kwu Tung area, like Chi Kee Sawmill & Timber, and other places, there are quite a few. You need a car to get around there.

On the island highly recommended Sang Lee Timber, Shui Cheung Building, 223-229A Queen's Rd E, Wan Chai. It is next door to a place called The Fresh Grower greengrocers.

They only do cutting of plywood and MDF but have a guy that speaks English and do a good quick job for very little money. Bring a clear picture if you want anything complicated!

Anyone know where to find some decent wood rather than MDF & plywood? Oak, teak etc?

Unless you live in a house, where do you plan to build and store your sailboat?
