    Bad Cough

I've been in HK for about two months now and my health has been pretty good. Recently though, I've developed this dry cough that's been killing me for over a week. Every time I talk, or breathe in (which tends to happen a lot lol), I burst out in a coughing fit.

I'm not sick or anything, I guess im attributing it to air pollution?? I've never had this problem before so it's kind of puzzling for me.

Has anyone had similar experiences? Any suggestions?

That's a frequent thing actually and most likely caused by pollution. I had this and still get it when I exercise hard for over an hour outside.

My suggestion is to invest in a good air purifier and most likely the cough will disappear.

When I get a bad cough like that, it usually means I'm going to get bronchitis. Since I moved back to HK in Dec '04, I've had bronchitis at least once a year. Didn't even have it once in the US, and I was a regular smoker. Go figure.
