Back home in Ireland this time of year I'd normally be pouring water on the locks and wipers of the car in the morning, just to open the thing.

It is chilly here early morning though, the wind this morning didn't help.

It gave me a giggle to look at the bus stop this morning though. It looked like a scene from Stalingrad 1944, but more miserable.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

Sorry but blame it on the malls where they've been playing the Xmas songs and this one is stuck in my head....

Daytime temp is fine (especially if you live in a south-facing condo), but the nights are a bit on the chilly side. Speaking of which, the clear day today (and yesterday) does make for great hiking weather. Shame this is a weekday eh?

We live right on the sea front and last night, my teeth were chattering taking the dogs for a walk. Damn. That wind chill! I don't think I was this cold on the beaches of Tynemouth!

Glad the rain has stopped. The blue skies so cheer one up.

Today it's wonderful like Munich, Austria or Kenyan highlands. Blue skies sunshine crystal clear and cool as far from the UK as you can get with its blanket of grey cloud and wet.....

Hope it lasts for everyone staying over in Hong Kong
