i wish you'd told me that before. i bought a can of raid and went nuts with it, almost killed myself in the process.

havent seen many ants since, but now i have water coming up through the floor

too bad raid or chillies wont fix that

what kind of floor is that? maple wood? n what kind of bldg r u living in?

i'm in an old chinese building in tokwawan.
the floor is tilled. i've noticed in the last few days that there have been huge puddles on the floor but couldnt see where they were coming from, then last night after mopping the floor, i saw water rising out of the gap between one tile and the other.

it's not flood level, but basically i use the bathroom, water comes up and everything gets soaked. the water its self has a layer of something on the top and it's quite thick, almost oil like. So now i'm afraid to take a shower in case my room floods or the floor falls in.

call ur landlord immediately, anything u do on ur own now could possibly cause their blame on you later (in case u dont know that s a kind of rental culture here for some ppl) meanwhile if u wanna take ur shower, go to gym/ swimming pool (all public swimming pools are now free until Sept, to celebrate for the Olympics). grab ur trunks n get a tan now :P
