Yes, I use the ones you put in the closet to collect water. They fill up very quickly. It was much worse before I started using them. It helped but I still get some mold.

probably worth you getting a proper dehumidifier if you don't have one and get it as dry as possible then start using the disposable ones.

i dont live in Belchers...but landlords in HK are brutal...it is never their fault, and pretty dishonest.
