I saw this pleasant little news article about sightings of False Killer Whales (a pod of 100 in fact) in HK this morning. Apparently they were healthy and chasing fish, in HK's busy Victoria Harbour of all places: http://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/a...isit-hong-kong
The report suggest these sightings as an indication of the improving water quality and fish stock in HK waters which in turn will attract the marine mammals to come over here.
If memory serves, back in 2009, a Humpback whale was also sighted in HK: http://hkmarinelife.wordpress.com/20...umpback-whale/
I see these sightings as a reminder of the wonder of nature, making us stop just briefly to marvel at it in our busy lives. Yes, even in Hong Kong.
