    mooncake

    where can i buy the best mooncake here in hong kong? there's a lot selling now but dont know from where to buy.

    Define "best". Most attractive packaging? Best (highest) price?

    It definitely won't be "best taste", as all of the ones available here are quite rank. Take a trip to Jiangsu for a tasty one.

    Depends on your budget yes but you can't go too far wrong with mooncakes from maxims.

    Nah, go to the satellite Moon for the real moon cakes.

    OK, when we're back to the planet earth HKG, Jimbo's suggestion to Maxims is pretty spot on. Tai Pan mainly makes new style mooncakes (with ice-cream and all sorta untraditional fillings...you know.)

    Some good old brands are Wing Wah and Kee Wah. Of course, many other Chinese restaurants & bakeries make good moon cakes too. But if you're not that adventurous, the above are the safe options.

    I second the recommendation for Kee Wah and Wing Wah. Yummy.
