    Exclamation problem with CSL/1010...

I was just wondering. am i the only one having this problem with csl/1010..

i'v been using new world for 7 years but the day they merged with csl and i had to change to csl problems started.below is a list
1- advertising calls starting 9 am to midnight"lots of them".
2- stupid calls starting 8 am to midnight that when you pickup a recorded voice says "GOODBYE" and cut the line. that's it.
3- tons of sms trash which after i complained they said "WE CAN STOP IT". i didn't ask for it in the first time!!!
4- they finaly accused me of calling TAIWAN for an extra hk$400. and this was 2 months ago. i talked to a manager"that's what he claimed on the phone" and he promised me that he will look into it and my line will not be suspended. MY LINE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED 7 TIMES SINCE THEN AND 2 MONTHS LATER THEY STILL DIDN'T SOLVE MY PROBLEM. and my line is suspended.....

anyone out there with this problem? i want to build a bass of information. please share and thnx for reading.

Used CSL for a number of years without any of the problems you mention. Have also signed up for the No-Call List thingy but only had a few calls before that. Was with Orange before but changed when I complained about the reception in Times Square (was standing in front) and was told I shouldn't move if I wanted reception on my phone!

So sorry, my experience is not going to help you with your "bass (sic) of information". BTW, is that the fish?

You've probably used your mobile number on some marketer's form... these get sold, resold and sold a few more times to cold callers and other marketing agencies. (Credit card applications ... lucky draws at bars, etc etc ... )

It won't stop the "live" marketing calls, but if you put your phone number on the Do Not Call registers for pre-recorded messages and SMS then those will stop (and if they don't you can complain to OFTA and they will follow up).

Details here: OFTA, Office of the Telecommunications Authority, Hong Kong

knowitall and pdlm... that still doesn't explain the TAIWAN call they tell me i'v made.... i had to point out that i'm complaining the customer service more than the messages. and yes OFTA is my next step.

but i was hoping to build a stronger BASE first ...

Yeah, the Taiwan call is weird. Sure you didn't forget your phone somewhere and it was misused by someone?

Not really heard of wrong billings - not saying it does not happen.
