I see my rock climbing suggestion didn't make the cut. Going off to sulk...

Let your helper take a summer sabbatical and make the kids do household chores.

Every Sunday from 2:30pm to 4:30 pm, there is a 'Kung Fu Corner' in Kowloon Park (by the Sculpture Walk of the Park). They have free demonstrations of lion dances and martial arts. I believe there is also the opportunity to join in.

Here are all the Gov't activities that HC suggested. You can sort by district

Build something. Like an electronic whizz bang thing. Nothing too tricky but fun.

Yeah my brother is a computer programmer now, and amazing at it. He started coding on basic when he was about 7, and was instantly hooked! Like any other language, the earlier you start, the greater 'fluency' you are likely to reach. Of course when he was 7 his programs had about a million error messages, or were copied directly from a manual!

My suggestions for this thread would be to book sports facilities such as tennis or badminton.

Another one. I have a friend with similarly aged kids and they love geocaching. When my daughter is older we might try it out.

Am I the only person reading this thread thinking "hey I'd like to try that"... while not having kids!
