Miss lots of things about Hong Kong, but enjoying SoCal living (and weather) so far. Just wish it weren't such a brutally long flight to visit HKG.
Southern California is a great place to live.

American muscle car culture, spacious fully appointed homes, surfing, scenic places to eat/drink by the sea that are ' pleasant & relaxed. ' one of our faves is Moonshadows beach cafe in Malibu, cruising along the coast in a new 6.2 litre V8 Camaro convertible....sigh... feel lucky that you have sooooo much freedom of movement to be able to enjoy a quality lifestyle, quite different to the HK birdcage.

One of the nicer parts of the world if you have a reasonable amount of coin to enjoy it in comfort, pretty hard not to like. Southern Californians are pretty cool, too. ie Good fun

The beach community where we moved to has a community center. One of the classes you can sign up for is "Beginning Surfing" . . . nice

I don't miss walking by one of those waste recycling stations in the summer heat.

Your entire post is useless as I have had my phone screen polished on three occasions in Europe - it's a fact, you know. I have not found a 'website reference' as I haven't looked, as I didn't have to, as I KNOW this service exists. Apparently not here in Hong Kong, despite all the other services you name. Oh, and please learn to type correct English.

yeah, hk boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, nice usage of english, mate, right on. i presume you have the avril lavigne 'sk8er boi' school of thought or maybe, a bit of a botti boiiiiii!!!

oh yeah, 'just wouldn't be caught dead with a phone that has a screen protector', then you should be able to live the consequence of minor scratches on your phone, even though decent screen protectors are literally invisible
