    Lightbulb homemade food for delivery/pickup?

Does anybody know any source for homemade food for delivery or self-pickup?
I'm mainly looking for homemade dishes ... I know there are lots of restaurants, delivery sites that offers "organic food", "fresh produce" etc.
I'm not necessarily looking to eat organic and like super healthy, but even for the "less healthy" dishes, homemade recipe and restaurant cooking makes a huge difference. That said, I'm not really a salad kinda person so those obvious ones that I found online aren't really my thing.

delivery is probably not an option given that I'm looking for the more "homie" things. self-pickup at popular mtr hubs is no problem for me thu!

Deleted quite a few moronic replies .... "why don't you cook" "why don't you get a helper" ... How the fuck is it different from someone asking for a tailor? Or a plumber? Or a driver? Or a helper?

Now what would be helpful is -- price range per meal and where abouts do you want your food delivered.

Quite a few western and Asian / Indian delivery services - but most of them are quite localized and don't have a large service area.

A few that I know of http://www.secretingredient.com.hk/ (not strictly home food delivery .. but used by quite a few oh so posh people who do not have helpers and do not want to go around shopping for their meals..) and on the indian side - http://www.dabbawalahk.com/

iliketurtles, lingc, Mat and 4 others like this.

Hey Shri thanks for deleting those not-so-helpful replies before I got a chance to see them! haha.

I'm thinking in something ~$100 HKD. I've come across quite a few websites offering ingredients delivery and such. I'm really looking for something I can have right away after getting home. Something like there would be a time that I can pick the food up from somewhere and just bring it home. Much like what you would do when you order to-go but it's home made cooking (or non-mass produced food) minus the luxury of calling in and have the food ready in 15 mins.

I personally live in sai wan but I am alright in picking it up along the MTR line as that's on my way home anyway.

Why not get a helper? Or perhaps share one with a friend (abit illegal) but they could cook dinner and you pick it up?

Locals can be hired to cook food.
Don't know where to look for them, but I've seen these arrangements before.

Chicken on the Run probably fits all requirements except location. Picking up from Caine Road isn't exactly convenient for Sai Wan. You can try Il Bel Paese (at IFC) for takeaway lasagne, tortelloni, etc (just needs warming up when you get home). Other option is stopping off at somewhere like Great and buying from the deli counters.

There are places in the States where not only can you have home-cooked food delivered, but they'll come to your back door and give you dirty dishes to put in your sink. (S)He will think you cooked just for him. Or her.

CookEasy delivers really fresh and affordable food packs that you can finish cooking at home. It will take you 10 minutes tops when you are going to stir fry the content of the food pack.

Furthermore I like it because it is a social enterprise from Tung Wah, they offer people with minor disabilities a workplace and they can try to become more independent. Unfortunately the website is only in Chinese, but you can contact their food delivery admin antd they can send you an English delivery form.

Also there is a girl in Kennedy Town who cooks delicious food at home and her friends can 'buy' her food boxes for the coming week. She usually makes lasagna, chinese dishes, pasta, etc.
