    Specialty Cookware

Does anyone know where specialty cookware shops are located? I am looking for a pressure fryer, different from a pressure cooker, as this one can take oil and extremely hot temperatures. Any point in the right direction on specialty cooking items will be great.

    Thanks,

Not sure, have you tried the Panhandler in Prince's Building?

    shanghai street

Go to shanghai street, its a chefs haven, many shops sell products for restaurants etc, however i have never heard of a pressure fryer and i would say it sounds extremely dangerous.....cooking with steam under pressure, till there, but now with oil.....

i would not take the risk and iu dont see the benfits of it.

    Cheers

    Other subject, still about cookware.
Anyone who can recommend a double burner induction cooker? Prefer a "built-in" one.
    Thanks.

    macobee,

yep, pressure frying just cooks things a lot faster, except with deep frying. It's the same purpose of pressure cooking, cook faster, less time. That link above shows that places like KFC use pressure fryers for chicken, and that's basically what I want it for.

In my opinion, KFC chicken is yummy. haha, anyways thanks for the suggestions!
