I think Dire Straits are underappreciated today. There's an ease to their music that's comforting. Mark Knopfler never overdoes it - always seems to get it just right.

look up any of Knopfler’s 2019 Tour. Pretty much the same set and you won’t find him doing Sultans of Swing but it’s a great listen.

A couple of years ago, I pulled the car into the garage. I didn't come into the house for five minutes. My wife asked why it took me so long to enter the house. I told her Freebird had just started and I had to sit in the car until the song was finished. She understood.
