Best place to look at stars?

I've been dying to look at stars here in Hong Kong. I mean really look at stars. So I was wondering if anyone knew a really great place to look at stars, preferably somewhere close to HK Island, or actually IN HK Island. And it wouldn't be so bad, either, if that place included some place to sit Any help would be greatly appreciated!

On Hong Kong Island your best bet would be Shek O. For moon gazing try Barker Road, there is a covered service reservoir there, so plenty of space to sprawl.
Better [and darker] sites are on Kowloon side-Tai Mo Shan and of course Robin's Nest which is right on the border.

FYI the stargazing group, Sky Observer, seems to organized trips or camps regularly at HK Island, Lautau or other outlaying islands... HTH
