    Disposing of damaged clothes

How does one get rid of old clothes which are damaged?

I donated about 7 bags of new shoes, jackets, used clothes (some brand new) last month, but found some more clothes in the house that I never wear. 95% of the new batch I recently found are fine, but a few t-shirts have tiny holes in them.

I can't remember the charity name here in HK, but one of them will take anything, and all the damaged clothes are then recycled and used for industrial use.

Should I dispose of the ripped clothes, or donate just donate them?

    Thanks

I'd donate the whole lot - if they don't want the damaged clothes they could use them as spares or for other purposes, e.g. cleaning, dressing of scarecrows

Where did you donate the new clothes? I'm also looking to get rid of some items.

I think it was Christian Action - they came to my home to pick up the stuff.
Anything over 6 bags was free, under 6 required a $60 fee.

Public housing estates have containers for old clothes.
