    Big Screen TV

Trying to figure out what stuff I'm gonna ship over. I have a 42" Plasma over here and thought about selling it and buying a new one in HK. Looking at the prices on the Fortress website they seem to cost slightly more in Hong Kong, so I may as well ship mine over. Is this a fair assumption?

    Don't bother bring it over.

Fortress prices are usually 15-20% higher than the real prices one would find with non-branded retailers.

...and depending where you are coming from, your TV won't even work in HK if it's only NTSC compatible.

Most plasmas have built-in multi format receivers. Your biggest worry is the voltage compatibility, you need to check the label on the rear. Hong Kong uses 240V. and the other is import tax when you arrive in Hong Kong.

    No import tax on electronics.
