One endearing local trait I've never quite fallen in love with is having people cut you up in the street with there being absolutely no chance of your not colliding with them. Of course, you get a nasty glare because it's your fault???

I had one woman cut me up at the mtr station when trying to exit out the gates. about 8 exits all free and I am aiming towards one of the middle ones, She suddenly proceeds to speed up and uses the one right in front of me. What the hell is all that about?

I go to china a lot, (Lok Ma Chau) once out of the HK Immigration gates, loads of people start running or walking fast like its the last bus and if u dont get on it then your screwed, everyone has a ticket so everyone has a seat but people start running, i have been caught up in the a few times, once i get to the line of the bus, i wonder, why the heck did I just run/walk fast.
