Ah ok that means if she has converted her P to Full then she needs to go back to TD and get back the P license for another year. Still better than having the license fully cancelled and starting from scratch.

It's true, though to work by bus for her is 45 mins as opposed to 15 mins in the bike.
She relinquished her license to the TD yesterday. Probation extended by 6 months. The lady at the license see office was very helpful: told her if she gets another offense she would completely lose her license so she should just park her bike for 6 months to secure her full. Lol! Good idea.
What are the court costs to self defend/fight a careless driving charge? I was hit by the front of an inattentive drivers mirror causing me to crash my motorcycle. The driver says "I'm so sorry I didn't even see you" but tells police I changed lanes into her. I have pled not guilty to careless driving but is it worth fighting?
Will I have to pay for interpreter?
Will I have to pay police time?
Will I have to pay prosecutor/judge time?

WTF, did the bimbo's car have a dash cam, do you remember. Dang hearing your post pisses me off, 1st she hits you then you get prosecuted for careless driving, super WTF
I would buy Go Pro cams at the front of your bike, at the back and one on your helmet from now on LOL
If it was anywhere urban, the police should have tracked down any CCTV footage, either from public or private cameras.
Yes, this happened right in front of a courthouse so plenty of CCTV, not one used by the prosecution or police though. Is there any chance of winning through common sense that the damage to the inside front of their mirror shows I was not just turning? From any personal experience is the penalty worse if someone tries to fight it and loses?
