How much do you tip your manicurist? Have found a new one and she's great. Want to keep her sweet.

I believe 10% is actually expected, especially if you don't look local. If the goal is to show you appreciate her skills, would consider tipping up to 20% depending on how much the total service is (where it lands on the scale of below to above average) and how much you feel happy giving. If the goal is to be remembered and maybe get better service as well, I think that differs from person to person and the norm they experience. Some people simply do the best job they can anyway, while some don't. Also, if everyone is appreciating her work and also happens to tip her about the same, it will be the norm.

I have some weakness in one hand. When I do my own manicures, I end up with lopsided ones - one hand fine, the other looks like a toddler with blunt scissors has been let loose on it.
