Hong Kong people don't go much for coin-operated laundromats. Well there was one on Bonham Road for a while but it closed, and there might be one on Kowloon side somewhere.

Sorry, but you're going to have someone else put your stuff in the machine and fold it afterwards, or alternatively buy your own machine.

If you are looking for Sunshine, the best way to check locations is via its website.

If you choose to wash your clothes elsewhere, there's a coin-operated laundromat in North Point (next to the Metropole Department Store).

It's in a small alley next to the fruit stand, hard to miss.

If you're located in Happy Valley, feel free to take bus no 8X, it passes through North Point.

Interesting. Has it been there long?

It's pretty new, didn't know it was there until someone posted it in the forums a month or two ago.

I've checked it out a few weeks back, it was there and hardly anyone was using it.

Think its HK$30 for up to 16LB (wash) and it's HK$5 for 15 mins of drying (just add additional $5 coins for extra drying time).

So it's good for large loads, but the cost for drying could add up (unless the machines can dry a 16lb load in 15 minutes!).

Highly doubt it.. Maybe 30-45 mins.
