    Good luck. None of them sit there unlike at the Mui Wo ferry pier where there is a taxi rank and usually a couple of taxi's. The village is tiny. Once there you have no other options. Bloody stupid idea if you ask me.

    You better walk out of that village and wait next to the main road or call a taxi.

    There are no taxis in that village , never.

    Or hike up from there all the way to big Buddha, probably takes you 90 minutes, there are taxis

    @ Morrison...thanks for the insider tip...worked great! Thinking about visiting Tai O this way as I saw a bus to Tai O.
