    Vintage watch repair

    Hey folks,

Wanted to ask if anyone knew of a watch repair shop on HK island that specialises in vintage pocket watches, seems that my Omega needs a bit of a minor repair. I've contacted Omega but they are going to charge me an arm and a leg for something a bit trivial. Basically I need the minute hand of the watch to be reattached. Name: Pocket3.jpg

Sadly the front bezel is quite stuck, might need some specialist tools to open it. I am afraid.

No such button or lever at the bottom, I'm afraid not that I can notice. Hate to damage it trying to open it myself as it was a parting gift from my Grandfather before he passed away.

There's a substantial place at the corner of Wellington and QRC that is loaded with vintage watches, I've been told they do repairs but never used them myself.

    Thanks for the recommendations folks!
@jgl, you wouldn't happen to have the exact address wouldn't you?

I'll be sure to give all of them a call/visit.

It's not so much a watch as a family heirloom. Get it done right. You won't regret spending a few bucks on it. You WILL regret butchering it yourself or handing it over to a hack to save a few coins.
