    Dunno if this is helpful anymore, but after reading this thread I looked outside and we have Phase 3 electricity in our home (I'm still not quite sure what this is)... If it's any help to know, we have an induction stove with 2 burners. It cannot go at full power on both burners at the same time. Actually, you can only get the equivalent of the "full power" split between the two. Our electric water heater works very well (thus far only summer, though).
