Right near where I work, so glad that I was not in that. If it is heavy rainfall before I leave for work, I usually work from home. We have a few landslides during heavy rain near where I live.

My idea of heaven, if it weren't for the coffee brand.

I can't see (or is it just hope) that happening. It isn't schedule to hit land until 3pm.

Just seen a crazy minibus video on twitter. The water was up to the front windscreen.

Glad I arrived home before much rain, if any. Dog doesn't want to stay, doesn't want to go out....guess the old puppy poo n pee pads come handy tonight.

That's the eye hitting, we will feel it long before 3pm. I don't think the government will want people to go to work for a few hours and then be told to go home, so I really do feel it will go up before 5am. But as I said, that's my PREDICTION

    Taking into consideration this:

STY HAIMA IS FORECAST TO MAKE LANDFALL NEAR TAU 12 OVER THE NORTHEASTERN COAST OF LUZON AS IT TRACKS WEST-NORTHWESTWARD ALONG
THE SOUTHWEST PERIPHERY OF THE STR. STY 25W WILL WEAKEN AS IT
APPROACHES THE COAST DUE TO THE ERC AND THEN MORE RAPIDLY OVER THE
MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN OF LUZON BEFORE RE-EMERGING OVER WATER NEAR TAU
    18. AFTER TAU 18, THE SYSTEM WILL TURN NORTHWESTWARD AS IT TRACKS
ALONG THE SOUTHWEST PERIPHERY OF THE STR BEFORE MAKING LANDFALL
AGAIN JUST NORTHEAST OF HONG KONG NEAR TAU 48. DYNAMIC GUIDANCE
REMAINS IN EXCEPTIONALLY TIGHT AGREEMENT THROUGH TAU 72 LENDING HIGH
CONFIDENCE TO THIS PHASE OF THE FORECAST TRACK.
    and this:

    36 HRS, VALID AT: 201800Z --- 20.0N 117.3E
MAX SUSTAINED WINDS - 085 KT, GUSTS 105 KT

My money is on Fiona's prediction. The only deviation thus far is that HKO has moved it slightly closer to the city.
