Can't link at moment but JMA are now showing a direct hit on HK. Now classified as a super typhoon.

HKO are now showing it on Friday before reaching HK downgraded to a tropical depression with max winds of 45kph. Looks like it is dumping its super typhoon strength on the Philippines.

I think you're looking at something else.

All forecasts look the same, no direct hit, but close by northeast of HK on Friday evening.

So if it hits us as the forecasts predict, is there a chance incoming flights are cancelled or diverted? I've got two sets of visitors coming in on Friday morning, one set from the Philippines and another from Malaysia. There is a Samsung Galaxy 7 warning on the airport website but no weather advisory information like with the amusement parks.

Do we know where Windity gets its information from?

Its tracking does not match with any of the tracks being shown by Typhoon2000....

I think WindyTy is one of the cutest websites ever. I love wasting time on it, even more than wasting time on GX
