Been sooo hot lately. Not much breeze, just humidity then dry heat, then humidity...the weekend has been so hot. Pollution also doesn't help but..I was saying to my husband on my way home yesterday, there must be another typhoon on its way to HK.

Just back from the beach...loads of pollution...but doesn't it look pretty!

No, the pollution is not healthy. This was also a factor in this year's Moontrekker, with many runners complaining that they felt ill but blamed it on the humidity when in fact, it really was the pollution. I spoke to many and some complained of respiratory, some stomach related and others to do with skin. It is hot, but not so humid , however the haze and pollution is affecting everyone's health. Mine included.
Direct hit on Friday morning? Gosh, these typhoons can dramatically change direction every 5 hours let alone in 5 days time, even the ones which are predicted with a relatively high level of certainty to be heading to HK.
how likely will we get a holiday on Friday?
