Agency to use to find good helpers?

What would be your recommendation for agencies to use to hire good helpers? What would be the associated costs with using an agency?

    Appreciate helpful info! Thanks!

One thing I would say is don't have expectations that the agency will find you a good helper, they will find you potential helpers but choosing a good one will be up to you. They are all in the quantity over quality game.

Thanks for the heads up! That's fair and I suppose what I should look for is a good agency to do the paper processing, etc. that wouldn't overcharge.

Best way to find a helper is by word of mouth from people you know and trust. Use an agency to do the paperwork if needed but recruit from a small pool of direct referrals.

Use Facebook groups, search for helper groups, loads of them around.

Post what your requirements are and you should be bombarded with replies, look for Finish Contract or contract being early terminated as the employers are leaving HK, find someone that provides reference phone numbers so you can call up their previous or about to finish employers to get the low down, ask the helper to come to your house on their day off for a trial run/interview, pay them the going rate like a part time if you want them to do some stuff in the house (around $80 per hour).

If they are about to finish the contract then you can find a cheap agency to do the paper work for you, or the helper can get the contract form from HK Immigration and you both fill it in and she can take it to the consulate for the chop and hand it in to HK Immigration. save you some coin but this can method is only for Filipino helpers for Indonesians you must use agency.

    Good Luck.
