    as @shri said. waste from renovations, even old sofa, should be taken to landfill, but there is charge!

    There are companies, for a fee, that will collect and dispose of large items, at least one advertised on this site recently but can't find it now. The streets are full of rubbish because people (not including OP) that do not want to pay, will not pay, or can't be bothered to properly disposal of waste, leaving the burden on to FEHD, then FEHD hires a contractor to deal with it.
