Thought some of you with young children might like this, sounds like a fun event:

A Conversation with Trees- A Tree Tour and Story-Telling Activity with Gavin Coates
Have you had the chance to experience outdoor Biology, English and Art classes together with your children? For this year’s Earth Day, we sincerely invite you to Lung Fu Shan for a playful day of outdoor experiential learning activities, centered thematically on the stories of trees! First, Biology class in the morning - a relaxed, guided walk through Lung Fu Shan Country Park. We’ll introduce different trees, and explore their stories together. After lunch, time for English class! We’ve invited renowned storybook writer Gavin Coates to be our English teacher for a participatory story-telling session about trees. Right after story time, we’ll flow into Art class, where we’ll create tree hats together with Gavin using simple materials! Bring out the artistic and creative talents of your children, and together we’ll all join to become forests of the future! To complete the day, we’ll give out handmade seed bookmarks for everyone to write reflections in. When the bookmark has reached the end of its useful life, it can be replanted, continuing and beginning the lifecycle of a tree again. If you’re interested, apply now!
