Now the prediction aims for Hainan and Hanoi...
Major disruption here but it is a combination of the depression and the monsoon being enhanced by the depression and the typhoon off to the east.
The two adjoining cities closed all schools early this morning but our fucking acting Mayor waited until 8:10am when all the kids were already at school! So we had to drive through the floods and drop them off in heavy rain, go home, then turn round and go back to pick them up. You lot complain about HKO warnings, believe me a localised system of school closures in the hands of a twat can be much worse.
The pollution is horrible. Horrible!
Hopefully these showers will bring it down...
Well for a mere depression that packed a punch (direct hit on us as my phone screeched the warning). Two dead in a landslide, extensive flooding.
Doksuri is heading towards Hainan, keeping itself a distance of about 800km from the South-southeast of Hong Kong.
