I have noticed french settle very fast where ever they go and generally don't leave.

When I've asked my french millennial friends they have said that they don't want to be part of France, pay taxes to a system gives them so little opportunity... I think that is French for "France is a shit hole and I am not going back".

Yes, No.1 emigration. They also have a huge brain drain, leaving only those less capable behind.

Then I realised they split the islands out this year and Jersey and Guernsey sit 38th and 39th respectively.
