Ombudsman urged to prevent 'spying on lawmakers' - RTHK

given that pro-authoritarian lawmakers can ask supports to 'kill' opposition and no evidence can be found it seems unlikely that the ombudsman will have the power to stop the executive branch assigning the civil service to act as the support staff for a group of political parties.

Why the well funded pro-authoritarian parties need to take (steel) public resources to manage their affairs in LegCo is a shocking abuse of power and much worse than steeling a phone for a few minutes.
