Clearwater Bay Second Beach parking

Is anyone familiar with Clearwater Bay Second Beach? Does it get very busy on weekends? What's the recommended time to show up before the parking lot fills up?

Now, it 's May, not very hot. You can get a parking space before 10am. But, in summer holiday, it's better to come before 9:30am

No Chance, especially with the great weather these two days, I lived near there and its always FULL by 10 am ish, The police wont even let you wait inside LOL

Lunch went longer than expected, but I still gave it go, but instead of going all the way to Beach 2 and being disappointed, I checked out Silverstrand beach instead. Got there around 4pm and found a spot within 3 minutes. Got lucky and the weather was perfect. Thanks for the heads up though. Next time I leave early in the morning and make a full day out of it.
