    MTR says dont walk on the escalators so I dont walk, any fucker telling me to move will thrown off the escalators and told to walk the stairs LOL

    Actually it's "Dont keep your eyes ONLY on your mobile phone". The added ONLY changes the meaning of the message and implies that mobile phone usage is acceptable within reason, just don't be a dickhead.

    The important thing is to come to a dead stop and pause for a selfie when reaching the top of an escalator.

    So its not just me who gets infuriated by this...

    In London people will always (not always politely) tell the person holding them up to move, yet in Hong Kong it is just accepted.... Why is this?!?!

    Well, pedestrians here do seem to do reasonable approximation of Brownian motion.
