The Witcher looks like quite promising. It is coming out sometime on Netflix before end of the year. It is a high fantasy type tv show starring Heney Cavill as the main protagonist.

His Dark Materials seems interesting..
A fresh take on a crime franchise with a provocative and outrageous lead character and a darkly comedic tone. Malcolm Bright knows how killers think. Why? His father was one of the best, a notorious serial killer called “The Surgeon.†That’s why Bright is the best criminal psychologist around; murder is the family business. He uses his twisted genius to help the NYPD solve crimes, while dealing with a somewhat manipulative mother, an annoyingly normal sister, a homicidal father still looking to bond with his prodigal son and his own constantly evolving neuroses.
We just started watching Daybreak on Netflix over the weekend, 4 episodes in so far and actually find it quite funny, even if it is silly, but me and the kids were howling with laughter. It's sort of like Ferris Buellers Day off meets The Walking Dead. The fact that Mathew Broderick stars as the school principal early on, just works lol. The 12 year old Angelica character is way funny with her snide off handed remarks ! love it !
Great year for coming of age drama
