    You mean the current other circulation to the east of the Philippines? The distance has to be within 870 miles or so for interaction between tropical cyclones to be clear, so it is possible there is some effect. Someone can correct me if the distance I gave is incorrect.

    Yes, usually around 1,000km so a bit less. Such an interesting dynamic to witness.
