    I think we should be complaining about SCMP's writing. Good god do they have some bad writers.

    At least it is free. Back home, The Australian, The Age, etc. are all paid subscriptions...

    Oh yeah. Totally agree. Terrible to navigate with especially when trying to go “back” one story and way too many videos.

    So if SCMP is bad... what is the alternative to getting English language, local Hong Kong news?

    Thanks! I like HKFP though feel it has a little bias in what and how it reports. I used RTHK a couple of years back and thought the website was even worse than SCMP. I noticed its been revamped a bit, so i'll check it out.
