Club Memberships....

Just wondering if anyone could suggest some good mid - range 'clubs' on HK island suitable for young families. Liking the look of the Abberdeen Marina.....but that would soak up the marketing allowance in one hit! So any comments on middle of-the-road relatively laid back clubs would be most appreciated

Cricket club is more reasonable.

Have been meaning to look at the Aberdeen Boat club.. have heard stories its fairly down-market (someone told me its a bit too overcrowded with ESF teachers getting pissed.. not checked it out myself).

For Americans, the American Club is a very decent deal... a bit out of the way for a few.

Heard ok things about the USRC ( http://www.usrc.org.hk/).

HK Footie Club is a good place and if youre the sporting type and are an active participant then you can get in as a playing member. Membership is a cross section of nationalities though seemed mainly expat. Its in Happy Valley.
