car gps and speed camera detector

just moved to hk from tokyo and bought a car. want to get a gps, which i know isnt as fancy as japanese gps, but want to make my life a little bit easier - i hate all the double white lines, 1 way signs, and no place to stop and check my map...
am not a crazy speeder but hate all the speed signs that say 70 then 50 then 70 and on and on.... but yet i see people speeding past..but at the same time hear about horror stories of so many people getting speed tickets in hk.. anybody know where i can get a speed camera detector? they're legal in japan, are they legal in HK?

go to Ap Liu Street in Sham Shui Po, there is a car accessories shop there that sells both.

I also noticed a few days ago that one of the shops in Stanley Market is now selling the Bel and Escort radar detectors. The guy said he could get any model from the Bel range. Prices for the better ones were $2800-$3300 before discount, depending on model.

Beware of the cheap versions - they don't work! Stick to Valentine, Bel or Escort.
